Motion 2.1 Displacement

Displacement

Summary- Displacement is the change of an objects position. It is a vector quality because it factors in magnitude and direction. An object could have a negative or positive displacement because of the direction the object moves.

This image is showing the mouses
displacement is different than the
total distance it traveled.

This image is showing a displacement
of 0 units, even though the person traveled
around the track. In the end there was no
